Satyendra Nath (S.N) Bose was an Indian Physicist who made immense contributions to the Physics and other
scientific domains. The name of Bose is going to get echoed in the realms of technology more and more because of his seminal contribution which is known as Bose-Einstein condensate(BEC). All the matter in this world have Quantum mechanical properties , only thing is that they are not visiblein the macro level. Even a motion of a Blue Whale has quantum properties which are difficult to be detected.The Bose Einstein Condensate is an exception to this. It can exhibit quantum properties at macro scales also.
So it is being actively considered by many players as a building blocks of Quantum Computing.

Another interesting fact about Bose Einstein condensate is that it can slow down light !!
